About Me

I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in December 2011. I majored in Journalism and Mass Communication with a sequence concentration in public relations. While in school, I was a member of Carolina’s varsity field hockey team. I was part of two-National Championship teams during my career in 2007 and 2009.

My professional interest is in advertising, marketing and public relations. I enjoy working in campaigns that need specialized and specific social media attention.

The summer of 2011, I became the social media manager for three different organizations. I managed all their social media sites, marketed and promoted specific events or activities using various public relations techniques.

In 2012, I became the Director of Operations for the UNC Field Hockey team. I managed daily operations while planning the team’s travel (flights, hotels, buses, meals), celebratory events, playoffs paperwork, monthly newsletter for alumni and friends of field hockey as well as managed the team’s social media presence.

In March 2015, I became the Communications and Marketing Coordinator for USA Field Hockey. I am responsible for enhancing USA Field Hockey’s audience online relationship through the website, managing social media accounts and continually improving brand reputation and consistency across all communication platforms.
